NHS Annual Blood drive

The NHS hosted their annual fall blood drive on Monday, September 9, 2013. Their goal was to get at least 20 donors, but because of conflicts with the evening’s sports practices and limited participation from community members, they fell short by eight donors.

NHS member Landon Rozell said, “Even though we only got 12 donors, I still feel like the blood drive was a success. Any blood we get donated is still lives saved.”

When none of the NHS members wanted to wear the blood drop costume, non-member Jeffrey Shockey stepped up. Everyone got a good laugh, and it helped promote the blood drive throughout the school.
