On Thursday, September 27, a small group of students traveled to the Springfield Little Theatre to see their production of Les Misérables.
The students were offered bonus points in English II and English III as an incentive to attend the performance and paid a discounted student group rate for their tickets.
All of the students said they enjoyed the musical, though some were more enthusiastic than others. “It was awesome! I loved it,” said junior Faith Wheelock. “It was crazy that they were all volunteers and they were so good.”
Overall, the students said they enjoyed the music and the scenes of comic relief the most. Landon Rozell admitted, “I have one of the songs stuck in my head.”
