On September 17, the Chadwick Lady Cardinals Volleyball Team defeated Pleasant Hope, making them undefeated in the regular season after the first six games.
While the team struggled to get traction in the Pleasant Hope Tournament, they have had a very strong presence on the court defeating opponents like Wheaton, Bradleyville, and Fordland.
“The reason these girls are so successful is because they have such a big heart for volleyball,” stated Coach Victoria Guynn.
“This season is progressing really well,” senior setter Mariah Aldrich added. “Our team has a bright future!”
The team this year consists of seniors Mariah Aldrich, Paris Gilbert, Kirsten Maggard, and Tori Vaughan; juniors Bianca Mitchell and Zoe Patterson; sophomores Chloe Burkhart, Natalie Parker, and Paisley Gilbert; and freshmen Alexis Loveland, Hope Cover, and Sierra Jackson.
