The junior high basketball boys and girls teams are off to a great start this season.The junior high girls basketball started with a winning streak that is currently at six games. They won first place in the Mark Twain Conference tournament, and also beat Forsyth and Fordland which are much larger schools. Coach Ray said, “The team has great chemistry, and they have a bright future when it comes to basketball.”
The junior high boys basketball team is a young team with only one eighth grader, but it has not stopped them from getting a few wins. Coach Shawn Guerin said, “The boys team is working hard to get better and to continue to grow as players.”
