The volleyball team is having a great season so far.
Not only are they in the middle of their first winning season in years, with a 6-4 record, but they broke along trophy-drought by taking third in the MTC Tournament last weekend.
They fell in three sets on Monday night to the conference champions, School of the Ozarks, but they are ready to redeem themselves against the Hurley Lady Tigers at home on Thursday at 6 PM.
They will also play in the Pleasant Hope Tournament this Saturday.
The team finished with a 9-8 record after being upset by Hurley in the first round of district competition.
Coach Amy VanHouden was named the MTC Volleyball Coach of the Year.
Seniors Haley Farris and Kayla Loveland also received first team all-conference honors.
