The Lady Cardinals Softball team lost their second game to Miller 14-4 last night. This follows a 19-4 loss against Cabool last Friday.
Coach Anthony Caruso is optimistic about the season, despite the early losses, noting that these are much bigger schools with more established programs. He was happy with the girls’ effort overall. He said, “The score doesn’t show how close of a game it was. We went into the fifth down 9-4 with a chance to break the game open. The ball just didn’t do what it needed to sometimes.”
Their next game and first home game is next Tuesday, April 7, against Sparta.
