D.A.R.E Graduation

Dare Graduation 1.27 (43)

The fifth grade class graduated from D.A.R.E. on Monday, January 27. The graduation took place in the cafeteria with Officer Whitaker presiding over the ceremony.

Officer Whitaker started out by giving a small speech about what the D.A.R.E. program was all about.

Next, four of the fifth grade students were chosen to read essays they had written about what D.A.R.E. meant to them.

The fifth graders also prepared a skit about what D.A.R.E. taught them and preformed it during the graduation.

The graduation ceremony followed shortly after the skit.

Fifth grader and D.A.R.E. graduate Lydia Walker answered, “D.A.R.E. helps you make choices about life for when you get older.”
