On Monday, September 30, 2013, Chadwick’s juniors and seniors took a trip to Spokane to visit the annual college fair for high school students.
The fair took place in Spokane’s high school gymnasium where over 20 colleges set up booths all around the gym. The colleges provided students with different types of information ranging from scholarship opportunities to enrollment statistics.
Students were given the opportunity to ask colleges questions and get additional information.
Senior Zena Hicks talked to multiple colleges including Missouri State, C of O, Arkansas Tech, and Truman University. She said her advice to the students attending next year would be to talk to all the colleges, even if you had not really considered going to them, and see what programs and scholarships each one offers.
