On Friday, February 8, following the boys basketball game against Sparta, approximately thirty students remained at the school for an event hosted by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) called “FCA 5th Quarter.”
The event began with a brief devotional by guest speaker, Dylan Robberson of Marshfield, during which he shared his personal testimony of God’s faithfulness through a life of abandonment.
Because of the generosity of many churches in the community, the FCA was able to serve everyone pizza.
Also, each student walked away with a door prize of their choice. All items were donated by The Calvarymen Quartet of Hartville, MO. They could pick anything from a Christian t-shirt to Christian CDs to bumper stickers.
After the devotional and pizza, students had the option of watching “Facing the Giants” or playing various games in the Multipurpose Gym.
The night was a huge success and the FCA was very thankful to all the churches who donated money to Chadwick Fellowship of Christian Athletes!! Be on the lookout for information on the next 5TH QUARTER!
