On Monday, January 14, D.A.R.E. Graduation was held to honor the fifth grade students who successfully completed the D.A.R.E. program.
This program teaches students the dangers of drugs and violence, and informs students how to avoid situations in which these dangers may be present.
The students performed a skit, and five students were selected to read their essay on why the D.A.R.E. program is important.
Student Courtney GrimesĀ wrote in her essay: “I think what I learned in the D.A.R.E. program will help me stay away from drugs and people who do them.”
